William Sweetlove is a Belgium-born sculptor, painter and assemblage artist. In his work, he mockingly denounces rigidity and narrow-mindedness, and addresses our basic humanity by combining high and low culture to produce neo-pop, minimal-surrealism and postmodernism sculptures. William Sweetlove has exhibited independently and as part of The Cracking Art Group, making a name for himself in the United States, Italy, France, Germany, as well as his native Belgium.
He is currently represented by Art@Africa, a Cape Town-based, contemporary art gallery specialising in showcasing meaningful, world class art from an incredibly talented group of artist.
