Sven studied at Rhodes University. He completed a bachelor of Fine Arts from 2008 to 2011. Currently, Sven is an editorial assistant at ART AFRICA magazine. He is the founder of Ism-Skism. Ism-Skism is an artist-led initiative that focuses on collaboration through a combination of street art and workshopping as a site for conversation. It is an ongoing project that began as a residence programme in the small town of Clarens, Free State. Visiting artists to date include Mook Lion, Sakhile Mhlongo, Skubalisto, Mr Migo, Martin Lund, Johnny Koel, Seth One and Fuzzy Slippers.
