Bushy is a Cape Town-born mixed-method artist dabbling in illustration, graphic design, comic design, animation, murals, zines and community development. Bushy’s style ranges from playfulness to satire, cartoon-like illustrations turned into entire murals in ebullient colours, fluid lines and humorous shapes. Traditionally a Graphic Designer / Art Director he left the advertising world and went on to teach art at the European International School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam while also running a successful sketch club. Coming back to Cape Town he has worked with many international brands including Fila, Reebok, New Balance, Universal Studios, Amazon and is currently a Jagermester meister. Bushy has collaborated with local brands like Shelflife, Archive, The Fix and SneakerLab.
