because I call it The House bc many have referred to my piece as such. I suppose the house has left quite an impression on viewers as they struggle to realize its actually painted. After all, it was my intention to leave a nostalgic snapshot of what the neighborhood looked like before the property value rose and the face of the community changed for good. The reaction of locals including the subjects were emotionally priceless.
