Yessi Nur Mulianawati, known as Yessiow is an illustrator and mural artist from Bali, Indonesia. Her love of art started at the age of 5, and it developed into a sprouting career as a mural artist in 2013 at the age of 17.
One year later, she started her graphic design studies at Telkom University in Bandung, Indonesia, where she graduated in 2018. After graduation, she decided to step out of her comfort zone and live a nomad lifestyle abroad. During her travels, she has been taking advantage of opportunities to build a street art career outside of Indonesia while also working as a freelance digital illustrator online. Yessiow's murals can be found in several countries, such as Cambodia, Nepal, India, Turkey, and Italy.
Her work is heavily influenced by a love of natural objects and bright colours, which is undoubtedly brought about by growing up on a tropical island. She loves to see her work in public spaces become part of the daily life of the local community, immersed in the activities of the people who pass by every day.
