PIXEL MONSTER is a graffiti artist currently based in Gqeberha, South Africa, who has been blending 8bit gaming style into street art since 2009. A citizen of the world, Pixel Monster has produced artworks across Gqeberha and internationally, transforming walls in cities like Kampala, Nairobi, and Medellín into a digital screen with their distinguishable Pixel Ladies. Currently, the women are present in most of his art pieces, with the intention to honour their contribution to the families and society. The facial features and clothing’s of the characters are inspired by the actual local people.
