Background
BAZ-ART, a non-profit Organisation established in 2016, which focuses on producing art in public spaces and creating opportunities for Artists. We believe that Art should be accessible to all.
Public Art & Placemaking can be used as a development strategy for job creation, tourism stimulation and heritage celebration. We believe that Art speaks louder and creates impactful storytelling. Based in Cape Town and operating in the national and international arena as the largest public and street art platform in Africa, this emerging company builds bridges between communities, neighbourhood groups, businesses, and educational systems through creating street art in many forms.

Junior Project Facilitator Position Summary
Are you ready to get fully involved in the project implementation process? You like to get up and out from behind a desk to get things done!
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a part time Junior Project Facilitator. As a Junior Project Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in assisting senior project managers and team leads in planning, executing, and delivering projects successfully. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic candidate looking to gain valuable experience and grow their career in project management.
Junior Project Facilitator Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Scheduling:. Collaborate with team members to develop realistic schedules and ensure project milestones are met.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, resources, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communication and Reporting: Maintain clear and consistent communication with team members, clients, and stakeholders regarding project status, updates, and changes.
- Getting your hands dirty: Ensuring you are fully assisting the team in all project needs. No task is too small to get the job done!
Junior Project Facilitator Skill Set
- Time Management: We can have may projects on the go but you are the type of person to plan your week to get those tasks done
- Strong Communication and Problem Solving: In the field things can move from the plan but you’re ready with plan C & D.
- Team player: You do not send others to get the job done when you can do it yourself
- Outdoors: You like to work on site and outside
- Eagerness to learn.
- Can work both independently and in a team.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Relevant studies up to a NQF 6 qualification
- Aged between 18 & 35.
- You are a South African citizen, have a permanent residence or study permit.
- You have been part of project implementation

Successful candidates will receive a stipend of R5 700 per month.
