From 1 April 2025 to 30 September 2025, you’ll be part of a dynamic, large-scale public art movement that’s bringing bold, transformative public art to Johannesburg. This is your chance to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with global and local creatives, and contribute to projects that transform urban spaces. General Requirements

  • Relevant studies up to NQF 6 qualification.
  • South African citizen, permanent resident, or study permit holder.
  • Aged between 18 & 35.

1. PR Coordinator 

As a PR Coordinator, you’ll be the voice behind Baz-Art’s most ambitious projects. Your job? Make sure the world knows about them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute PR strategies that generate buzz.
  • Build relationships with media, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Craft press releases, media alerts, and compelling narratives.
  • Handle media inquiries and coordinate interviews.
  • Track and analyze media coverage impact.
  • Collaborate with the team on branding, messaging, and marketing materials.

2. Office Admin – Johannesburg

We need a highly organized Office Administrator to ensure smooth operations behind the scenes. If you thrive on structure and efficiency, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage office procedures and maintain records.
  • Support the Funding Manager with admin and documentation.
  • Coordinate meetings and handle scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with necessary standards and regulations.
  • Maintain digital filing systems in Google Suite.
  • Handle bookings for all street art tours linked to this project.

3. Graphic Designer

Have an eye for design and a passion for street art? We’re looking for a Graphic Designer to help shape our visual identity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in designing graphics, illustrations, and branding materials.
  • Maintain brand consistency across all visuals.
  • Edit and optimize images for different platforms.
  • Create compelling presentations and pitch decks.
  • Stay ahead of design trends and bring fresh ideas.

4. Junior Project Manager – Johannesburg

This is for the planners, the doers, the ones who love bringing big ideas to life. Join Baz-Art as a Junior Project Manager and help deliver large-scale public art projects in Johannesburg.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and scheduling this initiative.
  • Build relationships with local communities and key stakeholders.
  • Handle permitting and ensure compliance with all requirements.
  • Keep the project on track, coordinating tasks and resources.
  • Maintain clear communication with everyone involved.
  • Roll up your sleeves and be hands-on – no task is too small!
  • Oversee production schedules and make sure everything runs smoothly.
