IPAF (International Public Art Festival) is back for its seventh edition! This year, the festival will also boast a gallery exhibition hosted by the WORLDART gallery, where local and international artists who have participated over the past seven years will exhibit artworks produced in studio.
“Many of these artists have spent years perfecting their painting styles under difficult circumstances outdoors so we are really excited to show their work at our gallery where people can have a more intimate experience,” says Charl Bezuidenhout, owner of WORLDART.
The exhibition, titled Concrete 2 Canvas, will feature Los Angeles based Sonny, London based MOTELSEVEN, Johannesburg based Dekor One, Cape Town legend Buffy Braveheart and more.
The exhibition opens Thursday 2 March on First Thursdays when the galleries in Cape Town’s CBD stays open till 8pm and concludes on Saturday 18 March 2023.
