Here at Baz-Art, we have been incorporating augmented reality (AR) technology into our <a href=\"https:\/\/baz-art.co.za\/what-we-do\/online-art-gallery\/murals\/\">murals<\/a> to create a new layer of creativity and engagement, taking street art to a whole new level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"has-large-font-size\">What are AR murals?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>AR murals are a form of street art that utilizes technology to create a multilayered, interactive experience for viewers.&nbsp; Murals are created on physical surfaces such as walls and buildings, but when viewed through a smartphone or tablet using an app called <a href=\"https:\/\/artivive.com\/\" title=\"@artivive\">@artivive<\/a>, they come to life through AR. The digital elements superimposed on the mural can range from 3D animations to sound effects, making the mural an immersive experience that engages multiple senses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Baz-Art Creates First Ever Augmented Reality Mural Corner in Cape Town\" width=\"525\" height=\"295\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OQPwdEuuPAo?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3>Disney+ &#8216;The Mandalorian&#8217; Campaign <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Brands have jumped on board the AR mural train, using them as a unique and memorable way to engage with consumers. Disney+ asked us to create the &#8220;MANDALORIAN&#8221; campaign featuring murals with 3D AR animations. This project combines physical street art with digital elements, creating an interactive and immersive experience. Viewers can use their smartphones after having downloaded the Artivive app to interact with the mural and explore the artwork in a new and innovative way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AR murals are just the beginning of what&#8217;s possible when it comes to blending technology and art. As technology continues to evolve, we can expect to see even more innovative uses of these murals in the world of advertising, branding and general artforms.
